Description
Yavapai County is seeking multiple contractors to provide on-call property abatement, demolition, cleanup, and removal services. The contractor will supply all labor, materials, management, supervision, and coordination to perform a variety of tasks including removal of structures, foundations, patios, sidewalks, fences, walls, asphalt paving, pools, septic tanks, basements, and capping utilities at property lines. Services also include removal of debris such as shrubs, limbs, trees, trash, scrap iron, abandoned homeless camp trash, underground storage tanks, and asbestos-containing materials. Cleanup and removal must include all trash, lumber, unattached home appliances, spare parts, storage sheds, household items, furniture, wooden pallets, trailers, disconnected water heaters, and all items on the property. If requested, vehicles including cars, trucks, forklifts, tractors, golf carts, boats, recreational vehicles, campers, and trailers, running or not, are to be removed and hauled away to a location determined by the Yavapai County Development Services Director. Work will be authorized on an as-needed basis with no minimum guarantee. The County estimates $30,000 to $100,000 per fiscal year may be available for projects under this solicitation. The contract term is three years with two optional one-year extensions. Offerors may bid on five separate zones, with pricing for each zone. The solicitation includes a detailed pricing sheet with hourly rates for demolition, asbestos removal, equipment, materials, and mobilization fees. Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and Arizona Department of Environmental Quality requirements. Pre-abatement and post-abatement coordination with Development Services is required, and all work must be performed in conformance with the most recent versions of applicable laws and regulations.
