Description
The City of Prescott is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide water and wastewater materials, supplies, and related products on an as-needed basis. The intent is to establish a contract with one or more vendors capable of supplying materials that meet the City's specifications and operational requirements. Materials may be purchased for routine maintenance, repairs, construction, system improvements, emergency response, and other activities associated with the City's water distribution and wastewater collection systems. The scope includes a wide range of items such as water meters (disc, compound, turbo, combo), repair parts, meter adapters, galvanized and brass fittings, copper pipe, meter boxes, repair clamps and couplings, sleeves, meter setters, marking paint, pipe saddles, ball valves, curb stops, corporation valves, gate valves, valve boxes, stainless steel tubing and valves, check valves, water production items, tracer wire, hydrants, PVC and DIP pipe, manhole adjustments, and related accessories. All materials must be new, meet applicable standards (e.g., AWWA C-800, NSF61-8), and comply with Buy American requirements. Vendors must provide a manufacturer's warranty of at least two years. The City estimates annual requirements of $600,000. The contract will have an initial term of one year, with options to extend for up to two additional years. The City anticipates awarding multiple contracts to fulfill the requirements.
