Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is procuring a replacement remote monitoring system for the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System. The requirement includes servers, backup servers, gateways, routers, signal repeaters, temperature and humidity transmitters, differential-pressure monitors, probes, oxygen and carbon-dioxide sensors, door-ajar alarms, domestic-hot-water and steam-trap sensors, and related equipment. Devices must support specified wireless, wired, BACnet, analog, alarm, display, accuracy, temperature, humidity, and environmental-monitoring requirements, and all devices must be RoHS compliant. The contractor must provide and install the equipment; program and configure the system; perform mapping, testing, inspection, and certification; provide user training; and supply 24/7 monitoring, technical support, data logging, software upgrades, troubleshooting, configuration support, calibration, and annual NIST certification or recertification. The software must meet VA technical and security requirements, including VA Technical Reference Model approval or authorization, web-based access, alarm escalation, scheduled reports, NIST-traceable certification access, approved network integration, and applicable information-security controls. The solicitation states that the purchase order will be awarded on an all-or-none, lowest-priced responsive and responsible offer basis.
