The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified contractors to replace the roof on Building 46 at the Sunmount DDSO facility in Tupper Lake, NY. The project involves removing approximately 5,000 square feet of existing asphalt shingle roofing, installing new ice and water barrier, and installing new GAF Timberline Ultra HD architectural shingles. The scope also includes replacing ridge caps, exhaust vent covers, and damaged drip edge, as well as assessing and replacing roof flashing as needed. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment, and must comply with New York State public works prevailing wage requirements. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for September 2, 2026. The contract term is to be determined, and the work must be completed within 60 days of award. This opportunity is limited to New York State Small Businesses, MWBE, or SDVOB certified firms.
