Description
The University of Central Florida is soliciting a contractor to construct and test two 16-inch-diameter Upper Floridan Aquifer public water-supply wells, each with a total estimated depth of 500 feet. The scope includes borehole drilling, well construction and casing, borehole grouting, well development, specific-capacity pumping tests, geophysical and borehole video logging, Florida Drinking Water Standards analysis, well disinfection, and potential chemical well stimulation. The contractor must be licensed by a Florida Water Management District as a Water Well Contractor. Work must be performed by competent personnel under the direct supervision of an experienced well driller.
