Description
The City of Orlando is requesting qualification statements from Florida-registered engineering consultants for professional engineering services related to the assessment, repair, abandonment, permitting, relocation, and replacement of 13 drainage wells in urbanized low- to moderate-income areas. The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program and is subject to applicable federal and state requirements. The scope includes subsurface utility and ground-penetrating-radar surveys; well inventories and condition assessments; geotechnical investigations, topographic surveys, and test borings; conceptual and preliminary designs; 90% and 100% construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates; permit applications; maintenance-of-traffic plans; bid-phase support; construction-phase engineering, shop-drawing and change-order reviews, meetings, periodic observation, and as-built documentation; and post-construction well completion reports and grant-support documentation. The project is estimated to take 43 months from contract execution. Respondents must submit a qualification statement demonstrating relevant experience, personnel and subconsultant qualifications, similar projects completed or ongoing within the past 10 years, project approach, workload, and related certifications and forms.
