Description
Lake County is soliciting sealed competitive bids for as-needed collection, transportation, recycling, treatment, and compliant disposal of used oil, used oil filters, used antifreeze, sludge, pads, oil absorbents, and other liquids. The contractor must provide all labor, personnel, equipment, transportation, storage containers, measurement, screening, reporting, employee training, and emergency response services. Materials must be managed in accordance with Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Environmental Protection Agency, and other applicable requirements, and the contractor must maintain required permits, registrations, USDOT and EPA identification numbers, licenses, labeled vehicles, and qualified personnel. The pricing form includes per-gallon and per-item rates for recycling or disposal activities and an hourly rate for a vacuum truck with operator. The contract is an indefinite-quantity arrangement with no guaranteed usage or expenditure. The initial term is one year, with two optional two-year renewals by mutual written agreement. Responses must include the County submission form, law-compliance affidavit, pricing sheet, reference form, W-9, proof of Sunbiz registration, signed addenda, proof of insurance or insurability, and any required contractor licenses.
