Description
The National Park Service requires a contractor to replace and fully renovate the shared kitchen and bathroom at Quarters 5, Oregon Caves National Monument and Preserve. The work includes demolition and disposal of existing cabinetry, countertops, flooring, appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, ventilation, and related components; installation of new cabinets, granite countertops, backsplash, sink, faucet, garbage disposal, appliances, washer and dryer, bathroom vanity, toilet, tub/shower, accessories, waterproof finishes, LED lighting, exhaust fan, and luxury vinyl plank flooring; and associated plumbing, electrical, ventilation, patching, painting, transitions, inspections, and closeout. This is a firm-fixed-price commercial construction requirement with a 60-calendar-day performance period following the Notice to Proceed. Quotations must include the completed SF 1442, completed quote sheet, Technical Information Form, relevant experience and past-performance references, a project-specific construction schedule, a technical approach narrative limited to five pages, and applicable Oregon Construction Contractors Board licenses for the prime contractor and proposed subcontractors. The acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, and the Government seeks quotations below, at, or above an informational figure of $65,000. Amendment 0001 requires acknowledgment and clarifies that cabinet, countertop, flooring, fixture, and appliance product data and cut sheets, finish samples, cabinet layout drawings, and proposed lighting examples require NPS approval. Contractors may not stay in Government housing during the remodel.
