Description
The Environmental Protection Agency intends to procure a Protective equipment maintenance agreement for government-owned Integra ViaFlo instruments. The requirement is intended to ensure the performance and dependability of the instruments and associated peripheral accessories and includes preventive maintenance of a base unit, operational and safety testing, mechanical and electrical inspections, wear inspection, and validation and calibration of a pipetting head. The agreement also includes maintenance and calibration stickers, maintenance documentation, firmware updates when available and requested, and on-site calibration. On-site calibration includes visual inspection, replacement of external O-rings where applicable, leak testing of all channels, and calibration with a certificate. The notice states that the procurement is intended to be awarded to Integra Biosciences on a sole-source basis and is not a request for proposals.
