Description
The Portland Airport Authority is soliciting proposals for a tenant to lease an approximately 8,000-square-foot existing box hangar at Portland Municipal Airport. The facility includes an approximately 60-by-19-foot bi-fold aircraft door, approximately 500 square feet of office space, and separate men's and women's restrooms. Permitted uses include aircraft storage, flight school operations, aircraft maintenance, and other approved aviation-related activities; aircraft painting and use as a primary residence are prohibited. The initial lease term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewal periods, for a potential five-year term. The minimum annual rent is $60,000 for each year. Proposals must describe the proposer's qualifications, aviation experience, proposed use, aircraft, requested lease term, financial proposal and capability, references, and relevant disclosures. The successful tenant must maintain the premises, obtain and maintain insurance acceptable to the Authority, and comply with airport, aviation, safety, environmental, and other applicable requirements.
