Description
Martin County seeks proposals from qualified organizations to develop and operate a 6.52-acre vacant parcel at Witham Field for aeronautical activities. The parcel currently lacks direct access to aeronautical infrastructure, including ramps, taxilanes, taxiways, and runways. Proposed activities may include non-commercial hangar operations, airframe and power plant operations, fixed-base operations, aircraft sales, charter, air taxi, and air ambulance services. Proposers must demonstrate financial strength, organizational capacity, and operational expertise to support the airport's long-term stability and self-sufficiency. The solicitation is an RFP requiring sealed proposals delivered to the county's Information Desk or submitted through Euna OpenBids (DemandStar).
