Description
Dupont-Lapeer Airport is seeking a consultant to assist with airport development projects through general consulting and advisement, airport planning, architectural and engineering design, and construction administration. The anticipated project scope includes runway lighting and signage, airfield crack sealing, pavement marking, taxiway pavement and lighting, terminal apron pavement, and fuel farm improvements. Land acquisition consulting for easements associated with approach clearing is also included when performed by a qualified and properly licensed consultant. This is a quality-based selection process, with services for individual projects negotiated independently. Respondents must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), excluding fees and costs, demonstrating aviation consulting experience, similar project experience, qualified personnel, knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration and state requirements, project coordination capability, and recent project success. At least three airport references are required. The SOQ is limited to 30 pages and must be submitted in duplicate. Projects are anticipated to begin between 2026 and 2031 and may be funded by federal, state, and local sources.
