Description
The Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County is soliciting competitive proposals for an airport land lease at Athens-Ben Epps Airport. The selected lessee will demolish an existing hangar and construct and operate a new hangar on the approximately 24,200-square-foot site at 1060 Ben Epps Drive, along with related taxiway and site improvements for aviation purposes. The lessee will be responsible for design, permitting, construction, demolition, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and required insurance. Proposals must address the intended site use, business plan, proposed lease term and rate, capital investment, requested lease credits or airport participation, anticipated effects on fuel sales and aircraft operations, ancillary aviation services, qualifications and experience, references, financial information, time and cost controls, CADD capabilities, and other relevant information. Required submission materials include the proposal form, addenda acknowledgment if applicable, and the Georgia Security & Immigration Compliance affidavit/contractor affidavit and agreement.
