Description
The U.S. Army is requesting quotes for a firm-fixed-price commercial order covering certified helium leak testing and non-destructive testing of 100 newly fabricated one-metric-ton mercury containers, with a variable-quantity line item for up to 10 retests of failed tests. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, helium, calibrated leak-detection and pressure-testing equipment, custom test plugs, transportation, supervision, and all other necessary materials and tools. The work includes container preparation and pressurization, pressure-hold testing, calibrated leak-detector scanning of welds and seals, and documentation of pass/fail results. The contractor must submit a completed pricing matrix, work plan, and quality control plan with its quote. The one-year period of performance is scheduled from January 1 through December 31, 2027, with performance at Tooele Army Depot, Building 519, Utah. Award is expected to be made to the lowest-priced conforming quote.
