Description
The California Department of General Services, Procurement Division, is conducting a Request for Information to gather market information and identify manufacturers and suppliers for a potential statewide contract. The contemplated product scope includes continuous-feed paper, OCR bond paper, recycled and virgin bond paper, offset book stock, recycled folio paper, inkjet-treated paper, 100-pound tag roll stock, chipboard, and colored slip sheets. The technical specification describes potential requirements for paper used in high-speed continuous-feed, offset, digital, inkjet, and other printing operations, including specified sizes, roll diameters, basis weights, recycled-content levels, performance characteristics, and manufacturing tolerances. It also covers chipboard for palletizing and protection of printed materials and colored slip sheets for stacking and packaging. Attachment A, the RFI Questionnaire, must be completed in its entirety; Attachment B, the Technical Specification, is provided for reference, and suppliers may submit supporting product literature. Responses are requested by email, and participation is voluntary and not required for any subsequent competitive solicitation.
