Description
Texas Southern University is seeking qualified insurance brokerage firms to establish a pool of approved brokers for on-demand professional services. The scope includes insurance program reviews, commercial insurance brokerage and marketing, coverage analysis, risk management consulting, claims advocacy, policy administration, contract insurance review, loss prevention, reporting, and related deliverables. Respondents must be licensed to transact insurance in Texas, have at least five years of experience serving public entities or institutions of higher education, demonstrate experience placing complex insurance programs, maintain Errors and Omissions insurance, have access to national insurance markets, and demonstrate financial stability. The university anticipates awarding contracts to multiple firms, but selection does not guarantee any minimum amount of work. The contract term is three years, with options to renew annually for two additional years by mutual agreement.
