Description
The State of Delaware, Office of Management and Budget, Division of Facilities Management is soliciting a single-prime stipulated-price construction contract to demolish and replace the existing make-up unit and exhaust fan at the Delaware State Police Crime Lab. The work includes associated HVAC, ductwork, controls and building automation system integration, electrical power and controls, natural-gas piping, insulation, testing, adjusting and balancing, commissioning, and related demolition, structural, architectural, roofing, and finish restoration. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, installation, startup, testing, training, and closeout documentation. The project includes a $10,000 contingency allowance, a 10 percent bid security requirement, and performance and payment bonds each equal to 100 percent of the contract price. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for bidding, and the project includes prevailing-wage, subcontractor-listing, drug-testing, commissioning, and two-year warranty requirements.
