Description
The University of Iowa seeks a managed credentialing service delivered through a software platform for dental providers at the College of Dentistry. The scope includes initial payer enrollment, recredentialing, ongoing maintenance of provider records and insurance credentialing status, and monitoring. The University expects the vendor to assume the credentialing duties after a transition period; it currently has approximately 86 providers, about 10 payers, and two locations in scope. The University is seeking payer enrollment rather than facility credentialing, and existing records will not be migrated; it will provide pertinent information and documents during implementation. Proposals must address the requested software capabilities and service approach, and include the completed features-and-functionalities spreadsheet, Information Technology Questionnaire, itemized pricing, detailed implementation plan and timeline, sample standard reports, terms of use or license terms, connectivity/workflow diagrams, and financial statements. The solicitation also requests three references and supplier contact information. The University requires the proposed supplier to be licensed to do business in Iowa. The contract is intended to run for one year, with four additional one-year extensions by mutual written agreement.
