Description
Cape Girardeau County seeks a qualified third-party administrator for its self-funded employee health benefits program. The selected provider must deliver an integrated solution that includes plan administration, stop-loss reinsurance, and pharmacy benefit management, with services covering claims processing, network management, eligibility and enrollment support, customer service, coordination of benefits, utilization and case management, and detailed reporting. The scope also includes transition planning and support, ongoing employer and employee assistance, claims run-out administration when needed, and in-house repricing of claims for locally contracted providers outside the TPA’s national network. Proposals must describe the provider’s experience and capabilities, service approach, transition costs, response times, recommendations, assigned personnel, and governmental references. The selected provider is expected to begin the contractual relationship on or after January 1, 2027.
