Description
The City seeks a supplier for liquid chlorine in ton containers, with an estimated annual requirement of 650 tons across three facilities. The product must meet AWWA B301 requirements and be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 certified, with certification documentation identifying the end supplier submitted with the bid. Pricing must include supply, delivery, insurance, permits, testing, and related fees; bidders must also provide chemical specification sheets and three current municipal water or wastewater treatment plant customers as references. The scope includes delivery during weekday business hours, 24-hour emergency delivery capability, and self-unloading crane-equipped trucks for two treatment plants. Bidders must describe their safety and emergency-response capabilities and employee training programs, and provide separate pricing for two days of on-site training. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
