Description
The City of Cedar Rapids seeks a contractor to rehabilitate Kirkwood Boulevard SW from Rolling Ridge Drive to 66th Avenue. Work includes pavement rehabilitation and patching, trail repair, curb ramps, storm intakes and sewer, and a pedestrian hybrid beacon. The engineer’s estimated project cost is $1,380,000. The project has an 80-working-day completion period, with work starting upon notice to proceed and a late start date of March 22, 2027. A five-percent bid security is required; the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount. Bids are submitted electronically through the City’s IonWave portal.
