Description
The U.S. Marine Corps is conducting a Sources Sought market-research effort to identify capable GSA Schedule contractors for laundry services supporting Exercise Resolute Hunter. The contractor would furnish all materials, labor, management, transportation, pickup, laundering, and delivery for approximately 6,000 pounds of laundry, or about 1,500 laundry bags, during the exercise. Services include scheduled pickups on October 29 and November 2, 5, 9, and 12, with clean uniformed items returned to the using unit the day after pickup within a 24-hour turnaround. The contractor must be able to clean items stained with Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL), follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, maintain and reconcile an inventory of laundry bags, and resolve missing-item claims within 24 hours.
