Description
The City of Banning Transit Division is soliciting proposals from one qualified contractor to provide monthly interior and exterior cleaning for a 12-vehicle transit fleet, weekly cleaning of 16 transit shelters, and weekly trash collection and disposal at 21 transit-related locations. Services include washing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, graffiti and stain removal, pressure washing, litter and waste removal, liner replacement, receptacle cleaning, reporting of damage or unsafe conditions, and quarterly inspection and documentation of solar-powered shelter lighting. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, supplies, environmentally friendly cleaning products, transportation, and incidentals, and must use the City's dump site to waive disposal fees. The proposal must address the required service approach, implementation and transition plans, staffing, company information, personnel, experience, at least three comparable references from the past five years, pricing, value-added services, insurance evidence, vendor forms, business and compliance certifications, CARB compliance, and debarment disclosures. The initial agreement term is one year from execution, with up to four additional one-year extensions. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is required, and proposals must be submitted electronically through the City's bidding system.
