Description
The University of Iowa is seeking qualifications from suppliers to provide an interactive digital solution for Nick's Theater in the Stead Family Children's Hospital. The solution must create a touchless, gesture-based experience for children and families using motion sensing, body tracking, or gesture recognition, with movement-activated visual effects and immersive environments such as forests, oceans, space, or fantasy worlds. The solution should support calm or playful modes, changing themes, and, preferably, personalized character or avatar creation. The scope includes the interactive experience platform and content, sensing technology, software, and required hardware. Suppliers must describe the technical architecture, space and network requirements, accessibility features, licensing and content model, content ownership, updates and customization, installation and commissioning support, training, maintenance, warranty coverage, and integration with the University's approved audiovisual integrator. The proposed solution must be compatible with an approximately 31.5-foot by 8.86-foot video wall with 7,680 by 2,160 resolution and 1.25 mm pixel pitch. Responses must include a detailed project proposal, three relevant references, key personnel and single-point-of-contact information, stakeholder and risk approaches, pricing, financial statements for the previous two years, supplier information, and responses to the required compliance and contractual attributes.
