Description
The University of Iowa seeks a qualified supplier to provide an interactive digital experience for Nick's Theater in Stead Family Children's Hospital. The solution must create a touchless, gesture-based experience for children and families, supporting motion sensing or body tracking, movement-activated visual effects, immersive themed environments, and accessibility appropriate for a pediatric healthcare setting. The scope includes the interactive platform and content, sensing technology, software, and required hardware; the University will provide structural wall construction, general AV infrastructure, and power/networking unless otherwise noted. Suppliers must describe the technical architecture, space and network requirements, accessibility features, licensing and content model, content ownership, customization, support, training, maintenance, warranty coverage, and integration with the University's approved AV integrator. The planned video wall is approximately 9.6 meters by 2.7 meters, with 7,680 by 2,160 resolution and 1.25 mm pixel pitch; the proposed solution must be compatible with that display or a similar one. Responses must include a detailed proposal addressing the requirements, examples of comparable installations, all-inclusive and optional pricing, three references, key personnel and a single point of contact, stakeholder involvement, expertise, risk assessment, and required supplier information. Audited financial statements and annual reports for the previous two years must also be submitted.
