Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for one Gravely JSV 3400 or equal utility terrain vehicle in support of the Iowa City VA Health Care System. The vehicle must have a 40-horsepower, 999 cc, two-cylinder gasoline engine; three-person seating; liquid cooling; electronic fuel injection; CVT transmission; selectable AWD/2WD drive; specified speed, towing, cargo, dimensional, safety, and control features; and compatibility with Sno-Way vehicle mount kit 99101212 and SHPE0750-series SaltDogg electric-drive poly hopper spreaders. The required equipment package includes hard doors with crank windows, heater, roof, headliner, glass windshield, electric wiper/washer, rear panel, horn, rear-view mirror, and freight. Quotes must include completed pricing for all contract line items, a completed and signed Standard Form 1449, any amendment acknowledgments, an authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer if applicable, and a technical-capability narrative addressing the salient characteristics. The solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price supply contract and requires the Buy American Act Certificate and the limitations-on-subcontracting certification to be submitted with the quote.
