Description
The City of Thousand Oaks is soliciting sealed electronic bids for trenchless rehabilitation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of an existing 60-inch corrugated metal storm drain pipe. The contractor must use either spin-cast geopolymer mortar lining or cured-in-place pipe lining for the entire project, including cleaning, CCTV inspection, infiltration control, structural invert repairs, flow diversion or bypass pumping, testing, and quality-control documentation. Additional work includes constructing a storm drain maintenance hole, optional access pits, excavation and shoring, traffic control, erosion and stormwater controls, pavement and surface restoration, and project closeout. The engineer's estimate is $1,700,000. The contract requires completion within 120 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, a Class A California general engineering contractor's license, a 10% bid security, payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of the contract price after award, prevailing-wage compliance, Department of Industrial Relations registration, and specified insurance coverage. Bidders must submit the City's bid forms and supporting documents electronically; paper bids are not accepted.
