Description
The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to enhance, equip, operate, and maintain the food service facility at the Inglewood Courthouse. The scope includes providing kitchen equipment, cash registers, supplies, staffing, food and beverage service, menu development and pricing, cleaning, sanitation, repairs, pest control, trash handling, and compliance with applicable health, safety, licensing, and permit requirements. The facility must operate at least Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except Court holidays, and must offer a variety of hot and cold foods, beverages, and premade or on-site-prepared items. Proposals must include an executive summary, detailed work plan, business plan, staff qualifications and resumes, proposed menu and pricing, and required Bonfire forms. The business plan must address operations, staffing, marketing, financial information and projections, proposed products and services, equipment, maintenance and cleaning, competitive analysis, and related topics. The selected vendor must install and prepare all required equipment within three months of the Notice to Proceed, obtain required licenses and permits, maintain insurance, and submit monthly gross-revenue reports. The license fee is 3% of monthly gross revenue when monthly revenue is $5,000 or more; the license continues until terminated.
