Description
This construction requirement covers repairs in Building 16 of a hangar, including demolition and replacement of two structural bracing members, rerouting of interfering electrical conduit and mechanical piping, and removal and installation of one hydronic coil for the makeup air unit. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, high-reach equipment, welding, insulation, leak testing, system tie-ins, sealing, testing and balancing, debris disposal, and related work. Structural welders must meet American Welding Society certification requirements, and an independent testing agency must perform nondestructive testing of new structural welds. The contractor must provide a project schedule or Gantt chart, schedule of values, safety plan, quality control plan, site supervisor resume, material submittals, and other required project documentation. The work is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, applicable federal, state, and local codes, National Guard requirements, base-access procedures, and a one-year workmanship and materials warranty. The contract uses firm-fixed-price CLINs and has a stated period of performance from September 25, 2026, through September 24, 2027.
