Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking two operating room surgical tables with integrated patient warming systems. Each table must support up to 1,200 pounds when centered and 1,000 pounds in articulated positions; provide specified height adjustment, Trendelenburg, lateral tilt, back, leg, head, flex/reflex, positioning, imaging, battery, manual override, auto-level, accessory-mounting, cleaning, and rotation capabilities; and use stainless steel and radiolucent composite materials. The integrated warming system must have a minimal footprint and support infection-control and patient-access needs. The requirement also includes two standard accessory packages with anesthesia armboard pads and extra-long restraint straps, two integrated patient warming system packs containing controllers and warming torso, head, and leg pads, and uncrating, inspection, and startup. Quotes must identify the offered brand, make, and model and include specifications, cut sheets, or brochures demonstrating compliance with or superiority to the salient characteristics. The procurement is a 100% small-business set-aside for new OEM products; gray-market and remanufactured items are unacceptable, and the award will be made on an all-or-nothing basis.
