Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price commercial service to safely fell, dismantle, remove, and dispose of 20 hazardous trees at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. The requirement includes two small trees, 12 medium trees, and six large trees, along with removal and off-base disposal of logs, limbs, brush, wood chips, and diseased organic debris in accordance with applicable regulations. Stump grinding is not required, and site restoration is conditional upon damage to improved grounds or irrigation systems caused by the work. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, and disposal arrangements. Work must protect nearby infrastructure, utilities, historic resources, turf, and irrigation systems, and must comply with applicable safety, environmental, historic-preservation, and waste-disposal requirements. The crew must include at least one International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist to supervise high-risk felling operations. The performance period is 60 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Quotations must include completed pricing for all line items, acknowledgment of the solicitation and any amendments, and a one-page capability narrative addressing the Performance Work Statement.
