Description
Shawnee County Parks and Recreation is seeking proposals from tournament providers for youth softball tournaments during the 2027 season, March 1 through October 25. Providers may propose for some or all available tournament weekends and must submit estimated team counts and a price per game for each requested date and field. Minimum rates are $35 per game at Envista Softball Complex and $25 per game per field at Felker Park. Additional fees may apply for temporary fencing, vendors, extra field-drying material, and other labor or materials. The selected provider will receive exclusive use of the awarded fields and is responsible for tournament operations, including providing designated representatives, communicating schedules and facility rules, and complying with the County’s operating requirements. The provider must use the County’s recommended officiating service, may not sublease or reallocate awarded dates, and must provide a certificate of insurance; selected organizations must carry public liability coverage with stated minimum limits. A $500 deposit is required for each awarded weekend. Proposals must include a cover letter and the completed Attachment 1, which contains pricing schedules, three references for similar work within the last five years, contact information, and any exceptions.
