Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking bids for a five-year, quote-based contract to purchase Bard HVAC units, replacement parts, and associated installation components as needed for heating and cooling radio equipment at its radio tower sites. The solicitation identifies several wall-mounted air-conditioning unit configurations, including 2-, 3-, 4-, and 6-ton models, and allows additional Bard models and related components subject to departmental approval. No minimum purchase quantity or expenditure is guaranteed. Bidders must provide unit pricing, technical specifications and literature, manufacturer and model information, upgrade pricing and policies, and three references for similar purchases or services from the prior three years. The contract is for goods; installation components may be purchased, but installation services are not specified. The contract term is five years, with pricing established by quotation at the time of each purchase.
