Description
The Kansas Department of Insurance is establishing a five-year pool of firms to support financial condition examinations of Kansas-domiciled insurers and other regulated insurance entities. Work may include risk-focused examinations, assessment of solvency risks, governance, internal controls and information systems, and examination of compliance with applicable laws and accounting standards. The scope also includes specialist support, training for department staff, and pre-accreditation reviews. Individual projects will be defined through later requests for quotations and statements of work; the pool does not guarantee a volume of work. Proposals must include a technical proposal and a separate cost proposal, with staff qualifications, experience, methodology, timeline, references, and applicable supporting materials. The solicitation also requires a current tax clearance certificate and specified certifications and forms. Proposals may be submitted by email or courier, with separate technical and cost files or flash drives as applicable.
