Description
The General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service is seeking to lease office and related space in Augusta, Georgia. The minimum required space is 8,194 ANSI/BOMA Office Area (ABOA) square feet, with a maximum of 8,194 ABOA square feet. The space type is office, and it must include 3 surface parking spaces. The lease term is a full term of 120 months, with a firm term of 60 months and no option terms. Offered space must meet government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards. A fully serviced lease is required. The offered space shall not be in the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain. Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The U.S. Government currently occupies expiring space in Augusta, Georgia, and is considering alternative space if economically advantageous, evaluating factors such as relocation costs, tenant improvements, telecommunication infrastructure, and agency downtime.
