Description
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking to lease approximately 3,143 net usable square feet of office space. The preferred location is within 3 miles of Wendell Boulevard and Hanor Lane in Wendell, North Carolina. The space should be suitable for a Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office. Key requirements include: - Approximately 3,143 net usable square feet. - Space on multiple floors is acceptable, provided floors are adjacent. - The lease term is desired to be 5 years with renewal options. - Possession of space is required by January 1, 2028, or as soon thereafter as possible. - The space must comply with all local and State building, safety, and zoning codes, including OSHA, provisions for the disabled, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. - Specific requirements for electrical outlets, telecommunication outlets, parking, lighting, HVAC, and janitorial services are detailed in the specifications. - The lessor is responsible for providing and maintaining the space, including utilities (except telephone), daily janitorial services, and maintenance of building and grounds. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the North Carolina eProcurement Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP) by 4:00 PM ET on July 6, 2026.
