Description
The City of Lula, Georgia is soliciting bids for the Maiden Lane Lift Station Rehabilitation project. This project involves the demolition of the existing pump station building and concrete slab. Key components of the rehabilitation include the installation of a concrete wet well lining, replacement of pipes and pumps (4 HP) within the existing pump station, and the installation of approximately 460 linear feet of 4-inch PVC force main. Additionally, the project requires the installation of one concrete manhole, 80 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity pipe, one precast concrete valve vault, and a duplex pump control panel with an automatic transfer switch. The contractor will also be responsible for furnishing all other necessary equipment, including electrical service, site lighting, and water service, to ensure a fully functioning lift station. The contract duration for substantial completion is 60 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with a maximum total completion time of 75 consecutive calendar days. Bidders must comply with Georgia Laws, including executing the Contractor's Affidavit for Electronic Verification of Work Authorization Programs (E-Verify).
