Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) requires a Managed Service Provider (MSP) to deliver comprehensive cloud hosting, infrastructure, platform, database, operational, transition, and disaster recovery services. These services will encompass the management, operation, maintenance, modernization, security, and continuous improvement of CDC's on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available services that adhere to all applicable Federal and CDC requirements, including FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST, and CDC cybersecurity and governance policies. The scope of work includes program management and governance, infrastructure and hardware services, cloud operations and platform services, software and middleware administration, database services, customer engagement and service intake, transition services, and disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution. The goal is to standardize operations, reduce costs, improve service quality and efficiency, and enhance governance and lifecycle management across CDC's IT environments.
