Description
The City of Social Circle is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide engineering and design services for a Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) project. This project involves the construction of new curb, gutter, and sidewalk facilities along the west side of North Cherokee Road, from Rose Lane to Partee Drive. The goal is to improve pedestrian safety, accessibility, and connectivity by providing a continuous ADA-compliant pedestrian route. The scope of work includes concrete curb and gutter installation, new sidewalk construction, grading and drainage improvements, utility adjustments and relocations, driveway tie-ins, erosion and sedimentation control, pavement restoration, and all necessary traffic control and signage during construction. The selected consultant will also be responsible for providing comprehensive preliminary engineering services and may be utilized for construction revisions. This is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with a due date of July 23, 2026. The selection process will involve two phases: the initial review of Statements of Qualifications based on experience, qualifications, resources, and workload capacity, followed by a technical approach and past performance evaluation for shortlisted firms. Communication regarding this project is restricted until the award is made.
