Description
Glynn County, Georgia is soliciting proposals for the installation of a new 120kW Generac brand standby generator and an 800-amp Service Entry Rated Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) at the Glynn County Animal Services facility. The project includes furnishing and installing the generator, replacing the existing transfer switch, and installing two new 3-inch conduits and parallel 250 MCM copper conductors for generator feeder wiring. The scope also includes providing subcontractor services for a new concrete equipment pad and for scanning underground utilities within the excavation area. The contract requires a minimum 5-year extended warranty for the generator. The county will provide utility locating services and will remove any existing obstructions to facilitate the new conduit route. All work is to be performed during first shift working hours unless otherwise approved by the owner. Excluded items include LP tank and fuel system installation, permanent utility company fees or upgrades, landscaping restoration, and structural modifications beyond the generator pad.
