Description
The State of Utah Division of Wildlife Resources, through the State of Utah Division of Purchasing, is soliciting a contractor to aerially apply three government-provided seed mixes across approximately 991 acres of Black Horse Ridge, Willow Ridge, Saddlehorse Point, and Big Park in the Book Cliffs. The contractor must furnish labor, aircraft or drone equipment, GPS-capable flight-line equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, radio communications, mobilization, and incidentals. A fixed-wing aircraft, helicopter, or drone may be used if capable of the specified bulk application rates. The work includes approximately 722 acres at Black Horse Ridge, 182 acres at Big Park for the BLM/USWFS mix, and 87 acres at Big Park for the TLA mix. Black Horse Ridge seeding must be completed between September 29 and October 18, 2026, and Big Park seeding between September 29 and October 25, 2026. The contractor must meet experience and equipment requirements, maintain continuous field communications, comply with environmental and site-protection requirements, and attend a mandatory pre-work conference after award. Award is anticipated to go to a single lowest-cost responsive and responsible bidder, with pricing submitted per acre through the online procurement portal.
