The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services intends to enter into a single-source contract with Piggly Wiggly Alabama Distribution Center for promotional advertising supporting the “Fresh From Florida” brand. The program includes authorized use of the brand logo in weekly print and online circular advertisements, in-store signage and displays identifying Florida products, digital promotion through the retailer’s website and social media platforms, and in-store samplings and special display promotions. The approximate contract amount is $35,000, with an amount up to $60,000. The notice identifies Piggly Wiggly Alabama Distribution Center as the only known vendor able to provide the specified combination of retailer advertising, distribution, digital content, and in-store promotional capabilities; this is not a request for bids or proposals.
