Description
Montgomery County is soliciting bids for a 420-square-foot interior renovation on the ninth floor of its Administration Building. The project will convert existing space into a shared payroll office, video and sound editing studio, and storage closet, including nonstructural interior partitions, finishes, mechanical fixtures, electrical fixtures, revised life-safety details, storage shelving, and related construction work. Addendum 1 revised architectural plan sheets A0.2 and A1.1, including door-frame reveals, paint and finish schedules, demolition notes, construction barriers, and hallway painting extents. The engineer's estimate is $167,800. The solicitation requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting, electronic submission through the County's OpenGov Procurement portal, a bid guaranty, performance and payment bonding, prevailing-wage compliance, and substantial completion by December 31, 2026. Bidders must provide qualification and experience information, including at least five completed construction contracts, and acknowledge Addendum 1 on the proposal form.
