Description
CalVet seeks temporary, as-needed water treatment operator labor to cover vacancies, extended employee absences, and staffing shortfalls at its water treatment plant. Operators must hold at least a California T-2 water treatment license and have at least three years of documented experience operating a potable-water treatment plant. Work includes operating and maintaining treatment equipment, conducting and interpreting water tests, making minor repairs, maintaining logs and reports, and assisting with parts and chemical orders. Operators must meet applicable state and federal requirements and complete the facility's orientation before assignment. The bid rate sheet requests hourly rates for regular time, overtime, and weekend/holiday work. The agreement term is stated as January 1, 2027, or upon approval, through December 31, 2029; the State may extend it by amendment for up to one year.
