Description
Greenfield Municipal Utilities is soliciting sealed bids for construction of water treatment plant improvements. The work includes approximately 860 linear feet of new 12-inch raw water main; a paved driveway, access drive, grading, and related site improvements; a new generator, utility main disconnect, automatic transfer switch, and distribution panel; removal of existing steel Trident process units; and construction of new treatment and ozone buildings. The treatment facilities will include flocculation basins, plate settlers, granular activated carbon filters, clearwells, chemical feed equipment, pumps, ozone contact basins, an ozone feed system, and associated process, electrical, controls, and mechanical components. The project includes a 1 percent goal for certified minority-owned businesses and a 3 percent goal for certified woman-owned businesses. Bidders must submit the required DBE subcontractor solicitation information and certification regarding debarment, suspension, and other responsibility matters forms with their bids, and demonstrate good-faith efforts regarding the participation goals.
