Description
The City of Windsor Heights is soliciting a lump-sum proposal for demolition and site restoration at 1122 65th St. The work includes removing and disposing of a primary residence, outbuilding, foundations, basement walls, footings, debris, vegetation, trees, stumps, concrete and asphalt driveways, and concrete pads. The contractor must coordinate utility locates, disconnect and abandon sanitary sewer and water services in accordance with applicable requirements, obtain required permits, protect adjacent infrastructure and properties, and provide temporary safety fencing. The contractor must import and compact clean fill, backfill excavations, rough- and final-grade the lot for drainage, and seed the turf. Proposals must include a cover letter, project timeline, three similar-project references, subcontractor identification, proof of ability to obtain required insurance and bonding, proposed means and methods, site-visit confirmation or waiver, and a lump-sum price with milestone-based payment schedule. The entire project must be completed within two months of contract award, with work commencing within 10 calendar days of the notice to proceed. A 100% performance bond and specified insurance coverage are required.
