Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is soliciting bids for refuse and recycling removal services at Buffalo Harbor State Park. The contractor must provide two 8-cubic-yard municipal solid waste dumpsters, one 30-cubic-yard roll-off refuse container, and one 4-cubic-yard single-stream recycling dumpster; maintain the containers in clean, working condition; perform pickups according to the specified seasonal and on-call schedules; and dispose of materials in compliance with applicable laws. The contractor must provide quarterly and annual waste and recycling reports, maintain continuous records of disposed and recycled materials, comply with prevailing-wage requirements, and possess required permits and licenses. Bidders must submit three similar-service references from the past five years. The award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible, and qualified bidder, with an intended five-year contract term.
