Description
South Valley Sanctuary seeks a contractor to improve its Children's Learning Center outdoor area and playground. Work includes installing two shade structures, adding turf or decking, expanding the enclosed playground and installing rubber mulch safety surfacing, replacing a two-swing set, removing an existing gazebo and damaged asphalt, extending an asphalt bike path, and replacing designated lawn areas with rock landscaping. Optional or alternative pricing is requested for an awning, decking, interactive play equipment, and a concrete bike-rack pad. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and installation, and is responsible for permits and related fees. Work must meet applicable accessibility, safety, code, and prevailing-wage requirements. Subcontractors are permitted but must be qualified and licensed and comply with project requirements. The bid package includes a required price form; bids are evaluated for award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting is a condition of eligibility, and the project is to be completed by December 31, 2026, weather permitting.
