Description
The California Highway Patrol seeks a contractor to sweep the parking lot and roadway lanes twice weekly. The contractor must provide a heavy-duty mechanical broom street sweeper, a dustless power-vacuum attachment, and hand blowing where the equipment cannot reach; remove debris and leaves throughout the paved areas; and provide all labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision. The scope also includes advance service notifications, make-up service arrangements for inclement weather, and prompt correction of unsatisfactory work. The prime contractor must perform a majority of the services. The award is intended for one responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest cost. A mandatory site walk-through is required, and bidders must submit a sealed paper bid package with the specified forms and supporting documentation. The agreement is anticipated to run from May 1, 2027, through April 30, 2030, subject to approvals and possible extension.
