Description
Salt Lake Community College is soliciting construction bids to replace light poles and upgrade parking lot lighting at its Redwood Campus. The work includes electrical demolition and installation of exterior area lighting, poles, fixtures, bases, wiring, and related components in accordance with the drawings and specifications. The bid includes three additive alternates: additional pedestrian light poles, light pole and base demolition, and repairs to light pole bases. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid site meeting to participate. A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid amount must accompany the electronic bid. The apparent two low bidders must provide a subcontractor list within 24 hours of request; performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract sum are required from the awarded contractor at contract execution. The stated construction cost estimate is $200,000, and substantial completion is scheduled for April 23, 2027.
